Prajñāpāramitā is the goddess of wisdom. Her name is usually translated as "Perfection of Wisdom." The tradition of Wisdom Perfection is one of the two great philosophical traditions of Buddhism. Vessantara calls her "the book that became a goddess," and tradition itself calls her "the Mother of all Buddhas." The mask depicts the text of the mantra, literally translated as "Oṃ Worship of the Perfection of Wisdom, the Beautiful, the Holy One!"
